PASSION FOR SPEED – 6 FEBRUARY 2016

Thursday 4 February is unofficial practice from 2pm till 6pm. The fee to practice on Thursday is R150, please pay at the WPMC admin office before going onto the circuit.

 

Friday is official practice and is included as part of your entry fee (no extra change).

NOISE TESTING OF ALL RACING VEHICLES

All vehicles (incl. Short Circuit, MotoX, CHD, etc) competing at Killarney are required to retest before their first races in the 2016 season. Compliance and the obtaining of a “noise sticker” before racing is compulsory..

Paul Lehmann will be available to do testing on the following dates / times:

Wed 3 Feb; 14h00 till 18h00

Thu 4 Feb; 14h00 till 18h00

Fri 5 Feb; 14h00 till 18h00

Tue 9, Wed 10, Thu 11, Fri 12; 15h00 till 18h00

Sat 13; 10h00 till 16h00

Tue 16, Wed 17, Thu 18, Fri 19 15h00 till 18h00

Testing on Fridays will be behind the scrutineering building and on Saturdays behind the Clubhouse

Note: Static noise testing will not be done on race days.

OPEN PRACTICE SESSIONS IN 2016: Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4.30pm

Kindly note that main circuit open practice sessions are held on a Tuesday and Wednesday (from 4.30pm till 6pm) in order to assist with the scheduling of maintenance work required on the circuit.

Tuesdays – motorcycles for the first 45min.
Wednesdays – motorcycles first followed by cars (15 min sessions).

A reminder that any of these sessions could be cancelled at short notice inter alia to accommodate a corporate booking or for urgent maintenance work. These are unofficial open sessions for members in their race vehicles and all present are here at their own risk, there are NO medical support nor marshals on site. Should the circuit become unsafe during these sessions, expect the sessions to be terminated.

POWER SERIES SPONSORED BY WINGFIELD MOTORS – 20 FEBRUARY

The event on 21 February will be the first round of the Power Series sponsored by Wingfield Motors.

Please find information below in respect of entries for the Power Series.

VERY IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY:

Entries close at noon on Wednesday 10 February, kindly submit your entry along with payment before then to avoid any late entry fees. If an entry is submitted but payment is only made after Wednesday 10 February, it will be deemed to be a late entry and the competitor will incur the late entry fee of an additional R300.
