Certainly a tough man to pin down but we eventually managed to find a slot in the Western Province superbike champs busy schedule to bring you the fourth rider profile of the series.

Risk assessment, strategy planning, hostile take-overs….it's all business for this ex rugby player who sees his career and his career in motorcycles as a single evolving entity. This year he'll be representing the Western Province in the new national Super GP champs as well as competing in the regional races where the dates don't conflict with the national timetable.

Hard to believe but Ronald Slamet a.k.a.'The Red Baron' won his first race in the liter class just two years ago after making the move from the supersports and his experience in total comes to only 4 years….impressive indeed.
